Just weeks after holding our historic nationwide advocacy call to coordinate efforts to ban horse slaughter, Horses In Our Hands is taking its next big step with the airing of an impactful commercial on prime-time TV. The ad tells viewers about the cruel slaughter of American horses and directs them to a link to our short yet powerful documentary that will be airing on PBS stations nationwide this month. The documentary, in turn, takes them to our website where they can get all the facts about this horrific trade and what they can do to join us in the fight to end it once and for all.

Progress Along the Way…

While it is incredibly frustrating that we’ve yet to end the slaughter of American horses our efforts thus far have resulted in tangible improvements in their lives. We will be ready to care for our horses here on US soil when horse slaughter finally does come to an end.
